As the chill of autumn creeps in, there is truly only one activity i cannot get enough of: Pumpkin related baking, specifically this delicious chocolate chip pumpkin bread that i've made the past few years!
If you're a pumpkin treat girly this is heaven! I just made some before sitting down to write this and it's taking every ounce of self control i have to not go eat the entire loaf... you need to make this ASAP.
Ingredients
- 1 Box of Super Moist Spice Cake Mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 can (15oz.) of Pumpkin Purée
- 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips (depending on how chocolatey you like it!)
Instructions
(Pre-heat oven to 350°)
1. Combine your cake mix, pumpkin purée, eggs, and sugar in a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix until all ingredients are fully combined.
2. Mix in your desired amount of chocolate chips into the batter. (I used about 3/4 cup of mini chocolate chips for this!) You should be left with a pretty thick, but smooth, batter.
3. Transfer your batter to your bread pan.
4. Bake 35-45 minutes, or until your tester comes our clean, and enjoy your chocolatey pumpkin goodness!
