A beloved recipe from a close family friend modified to make the cutest, most delicous, red velvet cookies!
[Makes approx. 3 dozen]
Ingedients
- 1 c. crisco
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 chocolate pudding mix
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
1-2 c. white chocolate chips [I measure chocolate chips with my heart lol so I'd say max 2 cups but anywhere from 1-2 is good! Just depends on your preference!]
Instructions
[Pre-heat oven to 350]
1. Mix your crisco, brown sugar, & sugar in a bowl at medium speed until creamy and combined.
2. Add in your eggs, salt, baking soda, vanilla, food coloring & mix together.
3. Add in your pudding mix & mix. This will obviously dull the red a but so i like to add more food coloring [if needed] at this point.
4. Mix in flour then add in chocolate chips (optional: mix chips in by hand)
5. Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
